EPITHETS!

Daughter of God

This is the most basic description of who I am. I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father who loves me. I find comfort in that knowledge, and knowing that I have a divine potential is a great strength, especially when life gets hard! I am very excited to be attending BYU, where I can nurture this divine relationship spiritually and academically!
I'm sure many of the topics we'll be studying in class this term will include gods, demigods, etc. and I'm excited to make some comparisons between my own relationship with my God and these ancient (and maybe some not so ancient) peoples' relationships with their god(s).

Giver of Smiles

I am a very happy person! Unless I'm hungry or tired. But even then, I can still be pretty agreeable. I am a big believer in the idea that a smile can brighten someone's day, so I try to give out as many as I can. I've also found that if you force yourself to smile when you're having a bad day, things turn around and pretty soon you're back up on top of the world! So spread a little cheer, give a smile! :)

Learner

I love school! Reading, learning, studying: these things are my bread and butter. Well, not really. Bread and butter are my bread and butter. Back to school. I really enjoy learning new material. I love knowing things. Not so that I can brag, but just so I know that I know, and maybe I can teach others. I'm also open to others teaching me! How else would we learn? I'm looking forward to working with groups of students so that we can all be edified together. Two brains are better than one!

Aspiring Social Reformer

I am really interested in Sociology. In fact, it's my major. I hope to continue my education to obtain a master's degree in Social Work and use all that knowledge that I so love so much to help people improve their standard of living. It'd be really cool if future students could read my name in a textbook linked to prominent social reformers of the early 21st century, but that's not really what I care about. I care about people, and making sure they have what they need to succeed and be happy because we are all children of God!
